    [Misc] Job Printing in Kyocera

    Hi Techs,

I am not a certified tech from Kyocera or Copystar Tech. but,

I have a customer, medical office trying to copy on a Kyocera 5052ci.

They want to program a job that when they copy will pull from specific trays that have colored paper in them.
So for example.. they want to copy something that page 1 will be from Tray 3, page 2 will be from Tray 1, page 3 will be from page 2.

How do I teach them to program this setting, I am sure its possible.

This is sort of urgent, I appreciate the assistance everyone.

    Thanks
    K

I'm usually setting this up in print and haven't used the Copy features for page specific tray calls.

Hope this does it, knock yourself out:

More than likely can be found in the Operations manual. Most manufactures make their operation manuals available online for end user download.

They want to program a job that when they copy will pull from specific trays that have colored paper in them.
So for example.. they want to copy something that page 1 will be from Tray 3, page 2 will be from Tray 1, page 3 will be from page 2.
Just to be clear, they want to walk up to the machine and copy (not print) a multi page document and the want page 1 to come from Tray 3, then page 2 to come from Tray 1, then page 3 is to come from Tray 2.

This amuses that whenever this program button is pressed, the machine is only dealing with a three page document.

Or is it a one page document that they wish to be copied on all the color paper in the machine?

The only way to do that is with a USB preprogrammed tray call. Cannot be done in copy mode without a program trigger.
