    Kyocera 3252ci adf problem

For example, if there are 50 pages in Kyocera 3252ci ADF scanning, it scans 20 pages and stops and scans the other 30 pages. When the scanning process is completed, it does not save to USB and the screen freezes. memory light is blinking.

looks like memory overflow on harddisc/ ssd
    run U021 and U024
Save data by U917 before, don`t write data back before testing

I am not saying this is your problem BUT this problem is seen from time to time in various models.

I recently had this (MEMORY FULL) occur on a 9003i, sometimes at 25 pages or as little as 5-10 pages. Also sometimes the problem would throw a C-0640.
After replacing all suspect memory items (Main, SSD, HDD) and performing resets as KYO_OEM indicates the problem remained.

This was a problem on single sided scans, which are processed by CCD->Engine->Main for Image Data processing, it was suggested to replace the Engine PWB and ribbon cable(s) from Engine to Main PWB's and this resolved the problem.

MM340 'Adj Memory' will allow you to allocate more memory space for image data by setting 'Image" from 0 to 50 (or up to 100) however this only caused the number of pages scanned to change before the same error eventually occurred. It's effect seemed only coincidental

The assumption was that the Engine PWB was sending bad/corrupted data to the Main, causing the Memory error.

I had a 3253 that had a very similar issue doing scan to email. Machine would freeze up in the middle of the scan. The first occurrence a year ago i changed the HDD and the problem went away. Year later they called back with the problem but this time i could not replicate it. I replaced the SSD and as well as the HDD and did the firmware restore per the manual. So far so good.
