error C7901

Hi all,
Interesting issue on this p8060cdn (similar like taskalfa). Printing was ok but there was a lot of noise coming out Left Feed Drive Assembly (302L794041).
We replaced the drive assembly (302L794041 PARTS FEED DRIVE L ASSY SP) and also the waste toner transport (302ND94018 PARTS BOX WASTE H ASSY).

After re-assembly, no more strange noises out of the drive assembly but we get a C7901 error on start-up,
Does anyone know whether the new drive assembly needs to be flashed first to the machine before working correctly?

It shouldn't. That code is, I believe, a black drum eeprom error. Be sure the drum unit is seated correctly. I'd make sure of it for all the drums and developers. If they are correctly seated and the problem persists, I'd swap the black and magenta drums to see it the code changes to c7903. if it does you have a faulty eeprom.
