    Kyocera FS-C2626 color deviation

    Hi everyone,
I'm new here. My Kyocera FS-C2626mfp prints black and white correctly. Color printing shows deviated and dirty colors. See the attached image. Over time, a few sheets of A4 paper jammed into the printer, and after removing them, I noticed that I had not recovered small pieces of torn paper. The wear is 74k sheets of A4 paper printed in black and white and color. The cartridges are loaded by me regularly. The toner is the same used and looks ok. Any help is welcome ...

These were not good units when new. If they have any type of quality issues, it throws the color registration off to the point where you need special firmware to reset it. Unless you fix the issue that was causing the problem, the registration issue will reoccur.
    Hope that helps !

If you're an enduser this isn't something you're going to be able to fix yourself. If you you hoping for better color quality, this machine will be a ... challenge, and costly. Tony is right about that special firmware: it fixed some machines ... others it did not fix. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks for your quick answers! The printer works for me, I have knowledge of printer repair. The device was bought in 2017, it was not new, it had worked 32k A4 papers and now it has 74k papers worked. Not much to brag about: 200k papers. It worked very well compared to my previous HP
I wouldn't want to give it up if you help me get it back on its feet.
If you think it's not worth it, then recommend me a model as small or smaller and more reliable.

I suppose that it depends on how important the copy quality is to you. It's never going to be photo quality, but maybe you can get reasonable business quality with the special firmware.

If it were me I'd try to get the special firmware, and try that. Be sure to follow the instructions ... it's different than standard firmware. Then color calibration.

I'd be interested in seeing samples ... now, and when you've done the special firmware:

I understand the differences between ink and laser, I don't want photo quality from my Kyocera, I want it to work properly
I printed out what I received from you and here are the attached results.

Please take this in the nicest way possible... That model machine is the biggest POS that was ever built. I have spent several hours back in the day to adj. & calibrate the deviation with the colors... I bought the special FW & the special charts & after I repaired the last one about 5 years ago, I threw them away & stay completely clear of that unit... There were so many bulletins on having to replace the dev. side rails, drum drive pack, frame bushings and so on... If I were you, cut your loses now & buy a new Kyocera full color unit & pat yourself on the back for not taking the plunge into this machine. Have a great weekend

                Re: Kyocera FS-C2626 color deviation

From the images that you've included I would do the following:

Remove consumables and clean the laser slit glasses
                Replace MC-590 (4pc) 302KV93120
                Do the special firmware
                Do the color calibration

That will get you a lot closer.
You're never going to get vivid colors from one of these. If that's what you're looking for, save your bucks for the new machine.
I told you it wasn't going to be cheap. =^..^=

                  ECOSYS M5526cdw

The model may be slightly different for your country, but this is a smaller machine and has been much more reliable.
                  Hope that helps !

Ok, I understand, multifunctional with problems, but chances are it can be solved. All three specialists who posted here (thanks to them) mentioned a special firmware. Where can I find it? My plan is to disassemble the printer, clean it thoroughly, then install a special firm, then calibrate, then check the results. If I notice improvements, then I replace the 4 MC-590 parts and reset the settings.
So where do I find special firmware? There is no driver for this printer on the Kyocera website either

I cleaned the whole printer, then went to the "color registration" menu and worked for two hours to align the lines. Now it works properly
Firmware for this printer, special or normal, only exists for you who sell it for $ 20. $ 20 is not the problem, I don't think it would have helped me anyway, but the fact that the forums are made for people to learn from other benevolent people who want to share their knowledge.
