    Kyocera 5052ci scanning issue

I don't know what it is lately with me and weird issues but this 5052 stopped scanning all of a sudden. Everything is set up correctly and when you test it the connection is OK so I know it's set up correctly but if you try and scan it pulls the document in and sits in the status box "sending" and never goes or errors. This happens on both SMB and email scans.

I am going back tomorrow with my laptop, switch and cables and going to make sure the machine will scan to my stuff using my network but is there anything in particular I should be looking for? This is in a house using a Nethear wireless router attached to an ISPs modem.

Does it spit out a error report sheet?

No it just sits in the machine saying sending. The customer left it there for over a day and it was still in the machine.

This issue was the typical Kyocera fall back to firmware, it actually fixed the issue this time.

maybe it is something new on their PC/server that blocks it? firewall? software?
