    Kyocera Taskalfa 306ci

The charge rollers on this machine are getting dirty very fast with not that many prints. Total count is only 89,878 & I've had to clean them for the second time in four & a half months. Is this normal?

    Ah yes.

I have encountered this issue on these machines too. There was a FW and Bulletin that was meant to address the issue of the machine running hot at idle which causes the K Drum to get "baked" which would cause the cleaning assembly to choke up. I so see the failure on K most of all, but I have also had the same problems on the other drums, so who knows. I think it is just a quirk of this engine.

If I get a call for QC on these machines I usually clean out the drum blade/waste collection auger at the same time as the MC.

Yep, it's normal. They acknowledge it, but they don't actually want to fix it.
