5054ci Setting different color defaults for the individual POP accounts

For starters I've only set up POP maybe only once. I know you can set up to three email addresses for the machine to RX Emails. The POP is already set up and is working, but the customer wants each email to have a different color default. so for example, all emails coming to copier@customer.com should be set to B/W and always print in B/W, all emails coming to MFP@customer.com should be set to Color and always print in Color and all emails coming to printer@customer.com should be set to Auto Color and always detect color vs. B/W

I can't seem to find how to accomplish this, but the customer claims their previous Kyocera from another dealer was set up this way.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Looking through the manual for Command Centre RX and the Web Interface of a 2554ci I have here these settings do not appear to exist.

You can indeed set up 3 separate POP user profiles, but no setting contained within deals with colour detection settings.

The only thing I can think of is that there were 3 accounts created under the Job Accounting menu and these were somehow linked to the incoming email address.
I wonder if you set the account name to be the email address then set the requried restrictions it may work as descirbed. Bit of a long shot though.

    Edit:
Did the other dealer run PaperCut or some other print management software that was not disclosed?
I also find that customers like to make things up to try and get what they want. This may not be malicous, could be lack of information or understanding on how their previous dealer set things up or ran for them.

I have no idea how old the info on that webpage above is, but it does mention applying workflows to Email jobs and could be exactly what you are after.

Slammers, you may be correct. I’ll review what you guys suggested. I was under the impression that this was a new install. I checked the history they have this machine for a number of years so I’m going to reach out to the tech who actually Services this machine and see if I can find out anything more.
