P3260 cassette paper size setting showing wrong in KFS

I know there is a setting on the drawer to tell the machine what size paper is suppose to be in the cassette. It gets turned and the customer calls and says it wants paper loaded in the MP tray or press the OK to print from the cassette. When you go into KFS and look it shows LTR which is what it is supposed to be. But on arriving on site I saw the dial was set to A4. Turned it to LTR and the machine worked without a error message. Is there a setting in service mode or in the setup to read the dial that also will show up in KFS correctly.

    Thanks

No there isn't. And you CAN get paper size mismatch errors if the paper menu is set to one size type, and the dial is set to another size. It's not logical ... but there it is.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The only way to get a "current" staus on the machine is to retrieve the snapshots. Most funtions like toner, counters etc are only updated once a day, at the time the machine was first registered to KFS. When you drill down into the machine, and go to counters, it will tell you the last update. This is also the last toner level reported as well. These are not all real time, unfortunately. So when you go in to look at someone's toner level, it could be 23 hours old unless you pull a current status page.
      Hope that helps !
