    good afternoon all

    i need to find the home position for the lift cam on the DP7100 for Kyocera 2553 please

      Most likely you have a broken pivot point on the backside of the original lift plate. The feeder will cycle through trying to feed an original and error out with misfeed.

        That motor is controlled by sensors.

          Hi All

          i think i have found the issue but not sure how to rectify ,i think the cam that moves the original lift plate is not in home position , i have attached a pic to show
          the cam , can any one maybe assist on how to get it back to home position please , the highlighted numbers is the cam i am referring to

            Like Santander said. Did you check the pin on the back side of the lift plate? That cam is controlled by sensors not by timing.

              This cam/motor can be rotated by hand, but all problems I've encountered with this plate are caused by the older design hinge pin that breaks under the excessive spring pressure. Newer plate has steel hinge pin.

                I'll second that. There's a great deal of spring tension on that pin. I was able to repair one by inserting a steel pin and securing it with epoxy. =^..^=
                If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
