TaskAlfa 2554ci cass stop paper empty

Hi,

Customer complaines that the machine switches to another tray when cass is empty . .
Is there an adjustment to "lock"the cass when its empty, and not by configuring the drawer as for example "letterhead"

not so much experience on this machine

Set printing preferences to a particular cassette if you don't want to define a different media.
You can also make certain trays for print jobs only, in MM U341

Try going to Command Center (web interface) and login as Admin. Under Device Settings you'll see Paper/Feed/Output. You can set each tray to it's own group and the machine should see those trays as not being the same even with the same size/type combination. That may work for you. ON the other side if you create a group with multiple trays as part of the group, they'll be treated as a single tray to swap over.

This is exactly why the "Letterhead" designation was put there. Why not use it?

ON the other side if you create a group with multiple trays as part of the group, they'll be treated as a single tray to swap over.

Is your print driver defaulted to "Auto" paper size selection? Then it will automatically select trays as needed. Don't want it to do that? Select a specific tray to print from, or change that driver default. =^..^=
