kyocera M5526CDW - IN DUPLEX MODE, PRINT THE SECOND PAGE INSTEAD OF THE FIRST

hello everyone, I saw this thing, I state that I heard from kyocera italia, and they told us it's normal, but I'm not convinced, and I trust you more.
practically the customer prints endorsed sheets (I don't know what they're called in your part) they are pre-numbered sheets and stamped by the judge. (all the sheets have been numbered in sequence and stamped manually)
when printing in duplex mode, on the number one stamped sheet, there is the second page, instead on the second page there is the number one sheet... and this is not good, I tried to "hack around" with the driver, but no i managed to fix it...can you help me please, thanks in advance

That is correct and it is normal operation. It has to print in that fashion in order to output to the tray in correct order. Are you ever printing more than on physical page (1 page duplex)? The KX driver does not have the capability, but I am pretty certain that the PCL and KPDL mini drivers do have the ability to reverse order print which should resolve the issue, but only if you are printing individual physical pages. I would double-check the capability for you but do not currently have that particular driver loaded on my system.

Thank CWP, it works, and as you said, one page at a time, now let's see what to do with the customer request,

      thanks again!

Absolutely normal. Can the page numbers be stamped afterwards? Or flip over each page in the stack the paper tray. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

hi, in more than 30 years that I have been doing this job, you know that I had never noticed this problem!..LOL, also the mf ricoh are subject to this, only that there is an sp in printer mode, the bit 05-(7) to be set to 1, or from user tool, printer>system setting>paper setting>letterhead>always active, but it slows down the machine a lot.

I can't specifically recall if your model supports it, but the TASKalfa's have an option under System / Common Settings / Original Paper Settings / Special Paper Action. You can select Adjust Print Direction. We use this when someone wants to print a stack of preprinted, ordered paper from the MP tray, like numbered cheques. The MP will pull from the top of the stack, flip the paper, then print on it.

I can't remember what brands had the function ... but with the finisher, there was a option called "Deliver Face-Down" or something like that. Does that ring a bell with anybody? =^..^=
