    M6526cidn "cannot preform Data sanitization"

I have an older M6526 that I am trying to run the data sanitization on it. I login with the speed of the machine, and when I try to run the Data sanitization the screen says "cannot preform"

Try using the Admin user name and password rather than the speed.

No, the speed 00 is the password that is needed. It is more powerful than admin admin.

Does it have an optional HDD ? No need to do a data sanitization unless it does. Everything goes to flash memory and can't be retrieved.
        Hope that helps !

Thayer knows a trick for this ... he's done many many many data sanitations. Are you reading this? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
