    machine end of life

ordered a dk-6305 from Kyocera, got an email saying the drum has been discontinued with no replacement. This leasd me to think they have stopped support the machines this drum goes in. Anyone know hoe to find a list of machines that have reach end of life so we have so proof when we go to customer and tell them we cant get the part because it no longer made. this email will work for this current situation but moving forward as we have several of the machines in the field that the drum fits in.

I'm not surprised. It was first manufactured in 2011 ... that's 12 yrs ... above average for most machines.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We stopped ordering those and use the DK-6306 instead which works in the 00 and 01 series. Biggest reason we can get rid of the 00 series is because of the TLS and SMB encryption not working anymore.
