Seems related to the fact that most drivers from Kyocera are unsigned (it costs for every version, every update). The current referenced update is for new models.

Starting with Windows 10, version 1607, Windows will not load any new kernel-mode drivers which are not signed by the Dev Portal.

You might check the OS version for applicability and the setting found in 'Method 2' here:

'Method 1' seems risky, I have not tried either.

I am not clear if it only disables the message or if it allows the kernel-mode drivers to install regardless.

This is what fixed our issue

The occurs when visual c+ + (vcredist_86.exe) is not installed on the desktop, this is a requirement for the OpenSSL used by the NW Fax driver to work.

What I just found is that you have to instill the xps driver then the NW Fax driver. Apparently the needed libraries for the FAX are not contained in the KX package.

I have tried the ideas posted here , but I am still having the issue on a workstation.

Are there any other ideas for a Win10 install

same error for my work pc windows 11. I tried everything but nothing changed, I hope kyocera will solve it...
