Thank you. I will try it. Worst case scenario I have an old laptop with Windows 8. I can (hopefully) set it up to scan to that, drop it to a flash drive, and load it to the Windows 11 computer. Not buying a new copies (she says). Tried to update the software to the copier through KM NET. That failed. Sigh.

I don't believe the machine has a USB. But it does have an ethernet port. Can I download the firmware to a computer and connect the computer to the copier/printer and update that way?

FTP is difference port 21 old fall back when smb was an issue

I will try it. The instructions are basically the same, except the folder is not shared.

I had to buy the manual ($4.99) and give my secretary's computer back. Some of the set up exceeds my knowledge. It is installed, now I have to configure it. I did allow if through the Windows Firewall. It is on but managed by McAfee.

Thanks to everyone for all of your help! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it! I was able to download FileZilla but setting it up exceeds my abilities. Even after I purchased the manual for $4.99. I will hire someone to set it up for me. Better than buying a new copier / scanner!

Any suggestions on what type of service I would look for? I am a business owner, somewhat tech savvy, but technology keeps getting more and more complicated. Until now, I have been my technical support.

I am located in Southern California, Riverside County.

I have a service contract with a copier company, I will contact them and see if they have someone, or can refer me!
