    Remote printing ??

Have a customer with an ECOSYS P5021cdw and wants to use the Driverless Email to Print so an employee in Mexico can send him files and have them auto print. I have searched the database and have not been able to find any documents that tell me how to get this set up. Has anyone ever set this up and made it work? I am sure documents are out there just have not found it yet. Have contacted Kyocera and they are no help of this.

They are using a Office365 account and setup a POP to the copier if that is right.

    Thanks

If there is no option to setup SMTP for inbound then just download a free NG license of papercut, max 5 users/printers and supports email to print.

How do you set that up? We have been fighting trying to set this up for a couple of days. Can not seem to get this right and always get a error when we test it. Any help would be appreciated. Kyocera is no help in this matter. Customer is using Office 365 and the smtp send (send) setting test out find but the pop (receive) side we get a error.

Driverless Email to print is what they are wanting to use for the P5021cdw.
IPP is not a option as customer would have to make changes to their Firewall and router.
Kyocera cloud print will not work as the machine does not support HyPAS.
MyQ is pricey and customer does not want to go that way.

Paperport is not a option as the customer does not want to use that.

        Thanks

I can make it work with Gmail but not Office 365.
Examples for Office 365 would be appreciated if that is how you made it work.

Was reading an article by MicroSoft that they turned OFF the POP authentication so it will not work.
Will have to use Gmail I guess.

My customer had their own exchange server so I never dealt with Office 365. This doesn't work anymore ?
          Server: outlook.office365.com
          Port: 995
          Encryption: SSL/TLS
          Hope that helps !

We've been so focused on the oft-used SMTP end of this equation, but POP3 receive is more rare so this is the first time I've seen it come up.

All because some guy doesn't want to buy a proper solution, print his email, or get someone a VPN connection.

It's rare I say this, but just tell the cheapskate to get a FAX

At this point why not just use Papercut NG. Its a free solution if used in this limited way.

Outlook can be set up for multiple addresses which can be set to print each message (or messages matching a specific criteria), or each of the separate addresses can be forwarded to a specific address that is set to print everything incoming.
