It's a probable PCR but what's the distance between dots? Are you familiar with the repetitive defects chart in the manual?Last edited by BillyCarpenter; 04-25-2023, 04:35 PM.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime. -

Re: Kyocera TASKalfa 351ci Dots / Lines
The drum has a clearcoat that prevents toner from sticking to it ... or it used to have a clearcoat until it wore off in some places. When that clearcoat is worn off toner sticks in those areas, and does not clean off of the drum surface. It can probably be scrubbed off with the right chemical cleaner, but will continue to re-occur in the same areas frequently until the drum is replaced. Chemical cleaning removes even more of the clearcoat, accelerating this process.
It might be pertinent to know how many images were made with this drum. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
