My 4003i arrived today on Monday. I went in and made some adjustments to the sleep timer, in order that it doesn't stay powered up for 120 minutes etc.
Three times it cycled into power save mode then into sleep mode.
It finally stayed in sleep mode after three power ups and then power downs.
Something a bid odd I discovered it seems. When the machine is in sleep mode and I walk up to it and stand in front of the machine it wakes up.
When I walk away after a short period of time it goes back to sleep.
As I sit here at the computer which is at the opposite end of the room, it remains in sleep mode.
Am I imagining things, or is there a proximity sensor in the touch panel to sense when a user walks up to the machine and then it wakes up?
