Kyocera M6235cidn... Auto shut off function?

Hi Guys, As I'm sure you all know the history with this machine and the dash marks on the (K) black drum unit.. Is there a way for this machine to auto shut completely off after a certain time, I know I can set the energy saver time & sleep time... But I would like to be able to have this model shut completely off after a certain time... I have customers who are good with the 2 or 3 min sleep/energy save time.. but I have a few that never shut the machine off & it still sits there in energy save and the fuser is heating the K drum over night & I would like to be able to shut it down automatically... any ideas? Thanks

    Make sure that your:
    Sleep Level= Energy Saver
    Sleep Timer= 5min or less
Energy Saver Recovery Level= Power Saving Recovery
    Power Off Rule= ON

(pg 8-46 to 8-49 of your Users Guide)

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The dashes still come back with the new drums. BC's suggestion for sleep timers is the way to go.

Hey Guys, I just set in a New Kyocera M6235cidn at customer on July 27, 2023.... Got a call this morning with the traditional dash marks happening. I get there and the machine has a total page count of 10,700 and of that total- 9,900 is color. the black drum had dash marks all over it from one end to the other, the Magenta had 1 dash mark & the Cyan had 2 dash marks. I was able to polish them all off with a soft cotton cloth & water... The sleep timer was already set to 3 min, I changed it to 2 minutes.. sleep level is set to energy saver, energy save recovery level is set to Power saving recovery... BUT I couldn't find the power off rule... I searched through the menu & couldn't find it. I wanted to set it to ON, but I couldn't find it. I explained to the customer about the heat for the black drum, but it's the first one that I have had that has had the dash marks on the Magenta & Cyan drums. VERY clean environment, machine has plenty of ventilation & all else is super clean.

This be good one for a sample picture. If dashes you mean like rain dropping all over at random not repeated. It's usually developer and be caused by bad toner or mixing of 2 diffrent toner brands to. I like to replace drum and developers at same size on thses.
