When I get unpublished codes on Kyocera machines the first thing I do is update firmware to latest level. If it already is at the latest level, I'll flash it again, just in case it got corrupted.

    Good luck...

Not sure what it is a good rule of thumb to remember on most Kyocera Boxes

Codes that start with 0 are usually logic
      1's are usually lift motors
      2s are drive problems
      3s are scanner
      4s are laser
      5s are main charge
      6s are fuser
      7s are toner and Developer
      8s are sorter related
      9s are Document feeders

Not always true but that is the way I remember them in my head.

If you're sure about the C9400, I'd have to agree with Craigdumass. The simple thing to do is power off, unplug the document processor, then power up. My bet is that your code will be gone.

Most of the DP codes are communication related, so if your code disappears, I'd look at the firmware first, then the pigtail from the DP to the machine, the DP controller, and the main PWB (in that order). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
