    Km 3035 Main PCB problem

    Hi guys,
having a problem with an km 3035 constantly having an error code of C0630.
I have tried resetting the error code (u163) it goes away for a second but keeps coming back up on power up.
I tried putting the latest firmware on but no addition.
The service manual says dma problem and its a defective main pcb. I firstly swapped the RAM from a machine in the workshop but no joy so i swapped the main pcb and still no joy. Anybody have any problems like this??
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

I think that I'd start by re-seating the connectors between the CCD PWB and the main PWB.

On the Falcon IIIs this code is very commonly caused by connection problems at the CIS connector from the document processor to the back of the MFP. Now the Falcon II does not use a dual pass feeder (no CIS), but the other optics can have poor connections also.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

after spending an age swapping controller, power supply and the scanner board it turned out to be the fax kit causing the problem. We took out the fax kit and its workin no problem so it must of blown. If only the error code had said that
