    no... no... no.... we get machines to refurbish every now and again... and I take care of them from time to time in between service calls... this is just a curiosity since we replace them any way... but wanted to see if there was a way to fix them...

      desperate measure is to get a worn green cleaning pad and gently clean the dv roller. then i would get a piece of paper and run it under the dc blade to get rid of the build up. if know one is cleaning the filters by the bypass this will build up heat and the toner will clump up behined the dv unit and kill your drum.
