    KMC2525E address book missing

i am experiencing a issue with the KMC2525E where no address book is available within the web interface. Does the KMC2525E support scanning out of the box? or is a firmware update/ scan file utility needed? Help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, the IB-23 is standard on all of the Voyager E's. Are you sure you're looking in the right place? Command Center > Basic tab > Addressbook > Single Contact....

If you're still not getting anywhere you might try resetting the NIC with simulation U504. Or maybe the type of scanning that you're trying to do has not been enabled (FTP: U511, SMB: U512).

I hope that helps. Can you be a little more specific?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

yes, i have attached a screen shot marking where the adress book button should be.

The scanning type i am intending to use is SMB but i was not aware you needed to enable it. Is this something you need to do in the machines engineering mode?

      cheers

Scanning is standard on that model (in the US at least), but it's a separate network connection like the Falcon 1-2 and the KM-6030. And it's also annoying to setup like those earlier models.
