    km-5035 with "c2000" code ?

I am fairly new to the kyocera's, been a Sharp/Toshiba tech 22yrs, I have a customer calling with a "C2000" on a 5035, just looking for some pointers of obvious routine things to cause the code before I check machine, I see its listed as a main motor problem, but I hope its not a main motor hard failure... ???
This machine has around 280k on it, and about 10k ago the full maintenance kit was put in it along with oem toner.

did you check developer unit?with some d.v units you can make 1 or 10 copy's maybe more its can be 100 or more but after its hard to rotate, change developer unit and see. also check if drive rotates smoothly;lubricate gears and bushings.

Take off the back cover and in the upper right hand corner ther is three switches on one bracket that get actuated at the same time. The side conveying door suppose to hit these switches. This is common on this machine that all switches do not all get triggered. This will mostly give a C2500 code but I have seen other 2000 codes from this. Make sure your drum and developer unit turn also.
