FS 1016 MFP scanner problem

a lady brough in a 1016 today and scanning from the glass an thru doc feeder is off. image is shifted to the right about a 1/4 to 1/2 or some where in between. not lead edge or trail edge but side to side. can't see any adjustment but though maybe thru service mode had adjustments. can anyone help me with this as lady would like it repaired. dealer here in town (who sold it to her ) told her there was nothing wrong with it and has beening saying it till warranty ran out. she is elderly lady so probably how he got away with it. her daughter contacted me just to see if it was her mother or what, well I ageed to look and that's what I found, any body have any answers or suggestions possibably a service file I can't believe it supposed to be this bad off yes, we hooked up and printed from computer with close edges side to side and printed fine

Hi,off the top of my head think its something like table centre setting for side to side adjustments.hope this helps.
