    [Error Code] Kyocera km 4050

    hello ,
    I need to help about KYOCERA KM 4050 ERROR CODE "C 0060"
    was changed harddisk and
    uploaded firmware version "2GR_2000.027.018 2009.04.02"
    it have new firmware than mine ? or service bulletin about it.
    Black is Kyocera , Color is Gestetner.

      You've got firmware version 2.40. There are newer versions, most recently 2.44 (4-27-2010), but there weren't any "bad" firmware levels to avoid. Anything over version 2.06 should speed up the panel operation and be problem free. Have you run U024 to format the new HDD?

      C0060 does not necessarily point to a HDD. Is it possible that the wrong model main PWB or wrong main DIMM has been installed? I would check there first. =^..^=

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          I agree that this code is not Harddisk
          Code means the main board failure
          But through my experience just got me the same problem I've re-programming of the EPROOM itself
          Dont measure yourself what has been done untill now , but must be compared What You Can Achive with Your Ability

              i AM converting spped for km3050 to km5050 this is working good .i am using another 5050 machine spped ram pcb ,i dont know ram modal no please inform the modal name

                      The original post for the malfunction code is over 3 years old. The new guy has a question about speeding up a slower machine.
