Falcon III with fax sys (M)

Has anyone noticed an increase in fax Rx problems on the Falcon III? Especially U01110 codes? This is happening on too many machines to assume that they have all developed bad phone lines all at once.

Versions 2.42 and 2.43 were supposed to have a bug which caused lockups when receiving, and it was supposed to be fixed in version 2.44. The machines that I've looked at recently have all been at version 2.44.

As an experiment, I've downgraded a couple of machines to version 2.40 to see if there's any improvement. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          hi,
When plugging in a Fax System M2, the machine was hanging completely.
downgrade first and upgrade to the latest availbale version (2.44), now this machine is working properly.

tmaged: If you're talking about version 2.44, that is the version I've had the most trouble with. As of yesterday (8/10/2010), I downgrade every Falcon III to version 2.40, until I hear about a better fix... =^..^=

Falcon III doesn't accept a fax sys (M)2. You must be talking about a Stratos (CS-2560/3060). And that firmware is at 2.45 (as of today). =^..^=

This morning I loaded 2.45a on our in-shop machine. So far 2.40 has been a vast improvement. No more complains from the office staff. =^..^=
