    [Jamming] FS-C5016N

Almost every single prints are jamming/stopping right before the fuser roller. Its always the leading edge of the paper barely touching the heat and press rollers. Both fuser and transfer unit assemblies are brand new. Pressure/gap between the heat and press rollers are not the issue. Id say 1 every 3 prints this jamming occurs...and there are times that you cant get a single print out of it.

93,534 clicks on the machine. updated to the latest firmware.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you get an error log to print? What jam codes? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi, Take the transport section out and clean the sensors in the left had side wall inside the little holes, also make sure the 2 sensor arms on the transport section move freely and the reflective ends are clean. does it jam from the manual feed?

yeah, those little sensors on a little board unit is called the PK 982 sensor assembly...was same jamming after cleaning those sensors. ordered that sensor board unit, replaced and worked like a brand new machine. a 300 page print job was in the print pool...every single pages printed out without a single jam.
thanks for the infos, guys! (i almost ordered a new fuser and transport assembly).

          Hi MADAS,

my reply is very delayed but I have similar issues. My print do get stuck direcly before the fuser, most of the time the printer is cold.

Can you show me which sensor do you mean?

          here a sketch. Thank you.
