    DF670 J81 JAMS

    Anybody have a fix on this problem? I was asked about this the other day at work but i havent come across it yet and so far a few have been sent back to kyocera as they just cant be fixed.

    on taskalfas i've been told... correct me if im wrong

    This finisher is compatible with Stratos machines (CS2560/CS3060/CS300i), but I don't have any of these finishers placed. Sorry, I've got no experience on them. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          I'll give it a shot as long as I don't get stripped.
          I've fixed it on a C2525E by cleaning the one-way gear on the fuser exit & the one-way on the job separator. We had about 5 visits before we actually saw it jam. It wasn't even making it out of the machine, so the Jam81 was misleading until you actually saw it happen.
