    [Misc] Fax not picking up.

I have a KM 5035 with a Fax option when a call comes in it wont pick up, the dial tone is present and auto receive is on, also the ring number is set to 2, I hope I am missing something. Thanks in advance.

Did someone mess with the distinctive ring setting ? This would be the only other cause I can think of.
    Hope that helps !

It's for having multiple calling lines on the same line. The phone will riiinnnnnggggg, the fax would ring ring. This has to be set up through the phone company. If the fax is set to look for a distinctive ring pattern, it won't answer a normal ring.
          Hope that helps !

Agreed. There's also the possibility that the phone line is out of specs. I've seen actual readings of: On Hook 40vdc & 72vac, Off Hook 12vdc, 0vac, Ringing 67vac steady. In this case it was a PBx box problem. I advised my customer to have PBx box serviced. Desired readings on a POTS: On Hook 52vdc & 90vac, Off Hook 12vdc, 0vac, Ringing 100-125vac alternating. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Fix

It turned out to be the small board with the speaker on it, I think NCIU board. So thanks for the suggestions and the 5035 an 2530 Nciu board is the same.
