    [Jamming] Jam 41 on 400ci

this machine keeps jamming, only on color b&w runs fine, good 28 bond paper runs ok too. our normal 20lb runs fine in the other 250,300,400,500ci machines but will not run in this one, the eject switch is fine checked in U031, fuser is good has been replaced and tried good ones from another machine in the shop.... this machine is in a large client of ours and were beating our heads upside the wall to get this running. the firmware is up to date, the fuser seams to run overly hot compared to the other machines, cant hold you hand to the plastic at all. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Have you compared the fuser temperature settings to other machines of the same make? Also check the filters for blockage, or fans for running & fans pointing in the right direction. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

yes we have looked at the fuser temperatures on other machines and they both read between 145 to 185 depending on how much it was just ran. and both machines read in the same range but the fuser on the problem machine feels a whole lot hotter to the touch than the other machine. all the filters are clean and the fans are funning. There is not a job sep.

Silly question, but have you made sure that the pressure screws have been tightened in the fuser unit as all new fusers come with the pressure off.have made this mistake before which causes fuser jams.
