[CQ] CS-C3232E Color Shift

Has anyone seen a 2 inch color shift to the right (towards trailing edge) on a Kyocera color copier? Magentia is offset from proper position.

Color registration adjustment doesn't help? TB 2 addresses the color registration adjustment for this model. However, 2 inches is quite a shift. Is it possible to post a pdf sample of the problem?

Here is a sample, the defect moves around left - right, but is the same:

I would try replacing the magenta drum/image unit based on the sample.

You'll be very lucky if the drum helps. I'm thinking that only a laser unit could produce this problem.

Is this a color copy/print or black? What happens if you run mono color copies -cyan,magenta,yellow,black?

I agree, had this or very similar on a utax 1625 (kmc2525) had to replace laser.
