KM-1128 dark copies overnight and in the morning

We have an 1128 that gives dark, not black but dark, prints overnight on faxes and in the morning with everything for a little while then goes away for the rest of the day.

Ideas? Anybody else having this? Sounds like weak cleaning lamp but need input.

Are there any blank margins on the prints or does the darkness go all the way off the paper?
What are the environmental conditions? Maybe it's possible condensation is forming overnite?
...or possibly other equipment on the same electrical circuit kicking on overnite (heater, etc).
Maybe try & move the machine to another room for a day or 2 & see if it makes a difference....

Had this problem a few months ago. Replaced drum unit and HVPS but a dev unit fixed it.
          Good Luck

What I mean is I replaced the drum and HVPS but that did not resolve the issue. What did resolve the issue was replacing the Dev unit.
