taskalpha 420i numeric keypad problem in copy mode

New install, flashed machine to latest firmware, swap out control panel, reseated every connector in machine, simm mode U906 reboot.
Still have problem with selecting buttones. In fax mode and scan mode, keypad functions as advetised.
I will swap out boards next Monday morning.
Anybody have this issue in the copy mode option only?

Nope. I've never seen a panel issue affecting only one function.

You've tried all the things I would have. Maybe you might downgrade the firmware a step or two, just to see if it changes anything. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

When you upgrade/downgrade the firmware be sure to check the result on the screen for each of the individual files.
      Only other thoughts would be
      U201: Initialize Touchpad
      U207: Panel Key Check
      U021: Memory Initialization

Sounds like a Main board though.

I did the U201 , doubt the 021 will fix it and didn't consider the 207,
but I'll swap out the main PWB and warranty the item
