I have a KM 3050 that says clean slit glass. I turned it off in service mode but still get warnings from the copier on our print management software. We replaced the slit glass and we changed simulation 63 from 0 to a -3 according to what Kyocera Hot Line suggested. The clean slit glass does not appear on the copier but it does appear on the print management software. I know we can flag this not to warn us but we want to take care of this issue. The copies and scans look great through the Document Feeder. Has anyone had this issue before.

Other possibilities include:
dirty white plate
dirty optics
defective CCD
Have you tried any of the settings between 0 and -3?

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
