    KM5050 Defective upper lift motor

    I have problem with KM5050 Defective upper lift
    motor and I replace motor to check.I have seen motor rotate but never stop then replace paper feed unit Same problem.when machine turn on motor begin to rotate even without casset motor rotating
    check all switches nothing.check upto YC13 all ok today I am going to check engine
    PWB. Any Idea pleas.

      Iv'e had a few of these where the lift motors have taken out the engine pwb.
      The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

          Cassette lift motor

          Yes, I agree - the motor blows a componant on the engine board and the motor turns all the time. Replace the motor first and then then engine board.

              Ditto. Change the lift motor and engine PWB as a set. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  I repear engine PWB.it is R275 and Q36 in engine PWB.then Change upper lift motor all works fine.
                  here I attach image wich componant you have to replase in the engine PWB.

                      Same as JSC i've seen 2 of these that have done this. This was caused by the user putting the user guide in the paper tray the other side of the paper, which stops the tray lifting properly. On both occasions both the lift motor and engine pwb had blown.
