i have a customer that is having problems with printing envelopes, you have to press ok on the machine, it says load paper in mp, press ok. the setting on the machine are set to envelope #10 and the print driver is set to envelope #10, with both set up the same way why is it beeping at me and having to press ok. its bugging to my customer and now that im working on it at the shop it is buggy me too

According to the operators manual the MP tray is designed to hold (5) envelopes, then will prompt you to load more. It's just the way it's engineered. See attached:MP Tray.JPG

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

i got the problem fixed, you have to change the paper in the system menu for it to work, the function menu will not do it, its pretty dumb to run a diff paper of any kind is about a 10 step process. but it does not beep at youComment
