    CS-C3225 Fusing issue

I have a CS-C3225 that has developed a problem with fusing, only on the first 2-3 pages after warm up from sleep/power on. Once at full temp and running, all copies are fine. Firmware updates completed and replaced fuser with new out of box unit and had same issue. Checked fuser temps and all seem to be normal, and even bumped up initial fuser temp setting from 160 to 170 with no change.

I'm thinking maybe damp paper? Does this machine have a cassette heater?
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Yes, and initially the problem appeared with the heater connected and when the heater was unplugged, the problem disappeared. However, about a week later, the problem came back, and has been around since. We thought originally since the heater was connected, it may have been changing the initial prints as the machine would have expected the paper to be warmer than it was, and with it disconnected, would let the fuser get to full temp before sending first print thru....

When you changed the fuser, did you tighten the fixing pressure screws? In the last few years Voyager and Saturn fusers arrive with minimal fixing pressure. There's a page in the box detailing how to do it.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The fuser pressures are set correctly, and this was appearing with existing and new fuser....

Maybe the foam roller bearings are turning to rust dust, and releasing a 1/2 dozen 1mm ball bearings. You can get J41 jams, C2300 codes, and yes, poor fusing. Also check that fixing temperature settings are at default. =^..^=
