We have big trouble with a Taskalfa 250ci, strange black spots over the page. Its only on black, not in color. See the Attatched .pdf file.

This is what we have change:
    Developer
    Drum
    Transfer belt unit
    HIGH VOLTAGE MAIN
    PWB engine assy
    PWB HWU Controll

What firmaware level are you at? Because that sounds like and earlier issue that was resolved by firmware.

The Status page shows version 10. THAT wasn't fixed by any firmware.
It looks like everything has been replaced that could be related. Did it start happening after a service call or maybe something a tech didn't get back together correctly ? Is it intermittent or constant ?
      Hope that helps !

Agreed. This looks like a charge or developing problem. Are the copies gritty (dumping developer)? I would take a close look at the spring contacts on the transfer HVT. I've seen this contact get dislodged when installing the transfer belt. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The firmware is the latest available. And yes the black spots is constant.
First we change Developer and Drum. Then Transfer belt unit. After that we have fore long time talk to Kyocera support in Sweden and change the ather parts from there advice one by one.
We have sent print samples and machine setting to them and they have send to Kyocera Europe office in Germany for long time ago, but we have still not hear anything.

There was no service close before the problems started.

Less then a veek after we have change Developer and drum it looks like the attachmed pics, the spots on the drum is hole like to high power to the drum, after that we change High volage main card and new drum and developer again. After that we have replaced the printer at the customer and stand now in our office.

I would take another black drum unit, it's not unusual for the new one to be faulty. Did changing all of those parts make ANY difference to the origional fault, are colour images ok? If so then you gotta be lookin at black dev or drum units.Your image looks like the cyan drum-is it?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

                      Hi Guys

Have about 15 of these buggers in my area. I have 3 of them giving me the same problem. Replacing the drum and dev seems to solve the problem for a while. Has anybody got an update what to what solves the problem ????

                      Regards

I'm hearing good things about firmware version 11.0
Personally I've had very few quality problems. =^..^

                              Charge arc to the drum
only thing it could be as the drum is pitted from arcing
                              been there done that
