    c250i (utax 1725) k cleaning motor error.

Have error C2351, K motor-cleaning. Have the new motor to replace. As I haven't done one before I was wondering has anyboby else done this, is it easy or hard. I did the tray lift motor for tray1 on a 250i last week- what a bastard of a job. cheers.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Did you check the black drum for a broken cleaning auger? You may not need the motor.

i would definitely check the drum gears. I have seen them get chewed up bad on the older color models, and a couple on the taskalfa's color units.

If the main drive pack is intact, it will be a whole lot easier than those lift motors. The cleaning motors are right on the surface, just a few screws. Note: just be careful how you route the wires. It's very easy to pinch a wire and create some very strange, intermittent problems.

I've had a black drum auger break and the pieces bind up the cleaning drive. Just turning by hand is not enough. You'll have to do some disassembly to see if the auger is truly intact. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Got some info for you

Here is the bulletin on the motor and what blackcat was explaining about the wire harness. In one occasion a wire was pinched and when u powered up the unit it wouldnt at all.
