KM-3035 & NS-30G Scanner: Scanner doesn't save settings made in the web interface

    Hello!

    On a NS-30G Scannerboard (Firmwar
e Version 2.64.5) some settings made via the web interface won't be saved. This is rendering the scanner part useless.

    Any Ideas?

Perhabs a Firmware update might help. But I don't know where to download a new firmware and the IBVerUp Tool
(mentioned here KYOCERA MITA | ServiceWorld | Techn. Support | FAQ | FAQ details - How can I update the firmware of an NS-30 scanner card? - laserprinter, printer, copier, multifunctionals

    Any hints?

Are you using Firefox? The NS-30 only likes Internet Explorer.

You can get the tool from the kmaconnect website. This is the website for techs and sales, all the manuals and firmware can be found there.

Exactly right. Sometimes if you're using an IE emulating plugin in Firefox it will work, but just use IE to be sure.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

You'll be much happier with Internet Explorer. I've fought this same battle myself.
Current NS30 firmware is 1.4.11, but I don't think that the Falcon II will allow SMB scanning, even with the upgrade. Email, FTP, or TWAIN only. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The upgrade to scan card firmware 1.4.11 is supposed to resolve the problem with Firefox. Either way I'm glad that you got it figured out. =^..^=

I noticed that when i make a change in web interface and want to save it and at the same time the user is using the machine the setting isn't saved. Wait a few seconds and after user is ready you can save the settings well
