HI rbell, have you checked for voltage at the solenoid? This solenoid releases when voltage is applied to it. My guess, is that if you have voltage, it is a solenoid problem. If you don't, it is a board problem.
    Hope this helps.

      solinoid issue

Hello. My expereince with the old Mita machines is that there is always voltage supplied to th solinoids. The are activated by the main board applying a ground. Unplug both wires on the solinoid. With a volt meter hold the black lead to ground (Machine Frame) and check each wire for voltage. you should get 24VDC on one wire and 0VDC on the other. Mark them + and - Next set your volt meter to ohms or continuity connect the black Lead of your meter to ground and the red to the - solinoid wire. You should not have continuity. If you do its probably a pinched - wire or the main board ......Ant
