My TASKAlfa 300ci has light copied issue. I already do U089 but it still has this problem.

Please provide more info....color copiers ?? B/W copies? Need more details about your symptom

u89 is not meant to "fix" anything, it shows you the symptoms at the core.

Are all CMYK fainted the same amount? Any patterns showing?

The first image is a orginal and the second image is a copy.

If this is just on copies, I'd clean the scanner mirrors and DP glass.

Also run your auto gray adjustment. It would help to know if color prints are light as well.

I really have a hard time seeing issue with the picture. The right side is lighter but still good.

If the original can be printed, i'd just print.

Also run the drum refresh from the operator controls/adjustment. I have had that make a world of difference enough times that I have started teaching the key operator how and when to do this.

If the original is glossy, wouldn't the effect be like that as well? With too much light per dot?

Be nice to see different samples

change your copy settings. you can change resolution and density to correct this. we went thru this in school on the TAs. if it is what we found, its not mechanical. just the settings need to be changed for that copy job.

If you could provide the Service Status Page that'd be nice too, if not, could you post the coverage ratio? u131 numbers are a bit low.

U131: Adjust toner sensor control voltage
- Manual adjustment: 116, 116, 116, 116
- Auto adjustment: 172, 166, 166, 166 and 150, 139, 136, 132
- Operation mode: Auto

I would do a developer refresh, U464 > AC Calibration > CMY to On > Start, then a Color Calibration. In that order. =^..^=
