[CQ] Km5530 lite copies? White spots

Had a KM5530 last week that was making lite copies. More specificlly, blacks don't seem to fill in well at all. I put an entire PM kit in it. Dev. unit. new dv bottle, main charger, drum, etc...the whole kit. Seemed to fix it for only a few days..Now it's doing exactly the same again. With all these new parts, should i be looking for bias issues? this symptom could be called white spots as well. I'm stumped. Input?

Check the DPS sensor that sits just above the drum inside at the top. It gets dirty, doesn't read the drum potential properly and then results in washed out copies. Usually blowing it out is sufficient, but if the dev is depleted you may need to replace it again. Good Luck!

Check the drum ground on the shaft in the back of the unit. The Brass ground will not be making contact with the shaft and can cause quality issues.

Poor fill, white spots... How does the customer store their paper? Kinda sounds like a humidity issue.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
