[CQ] TASKalfa 400Ci Cleaning Brush Not Turning

I have been woking on a 400Ci with a intermittent smudge issue on prints and copies.
After trying two new transfer belt units it would appear that the fur cleaning brush might not be turning. I am trying to deterine which motor drives the gearing assembly which contacts the gear of the cleaning brush to turn it.
Another problem appears to be the multi purpose bypass tray not feeding paper. It seems that the engine pcb is at fault and I am waiting for the replacement.
In talking with technical support I was informed that the bypass tray problem could be directly related to the cleaning brush problem.
I am trying to understand how that might be.
Anyway if someone has had a similar problem with the cleaning brush not turning I sure would like to hear from them.
    Thanks everyone.

There are a few connectors on that PWB that relate to transfer and cleaning.

      I appreciate the response.
I can only hope the engine pcb resolves both issues.
I still would like to know which motor drives the fur cleaning brush. The parts diagram shows a lot of gears etc in that area.

The transfer cleaning unit resides directly over the top of the MP tray feed unit. Is there maybe a ton of toner dumping onto the MP tray? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Thanks for the reply blackcat.
No there isn't any toner built up at all. I really think this all came about when the bypass tray failed to pull/feed paper.
From what the symptoms are and the technical input I get it seems that until I replace the engine pcb I cannot do any more testing.
I hope to know no later than this coming Tuesday.
              Thanks

Tried the engine pcb and no resolution yet. As advised I now have the drive unit module on order that drives the MPT and cleaning fur brush.
I will post the results when this is done. (Great engineering design in my opinion)
                Thanks

                  FYI
The final solution was changing out the MPF DRIVE H UNIT 302KY94220.

                  Regards
