    TA 3050ci Blurred Copies

    Ok Here we go TA 3050ci is giving me blurred copies. Rear is not as bad as front,rear is just noticeable, front is very noticeable.Printing and 2,nd side is good. Checked parallelism between mirror and light source,its Ok. The sm does not give any adj procedure.
    Any thoughts....

      "Replace image scanning unit." That's what the manuals says. The LED exposure assembly is totally self contained, so I can't image that there's anything adjustable in the field, except perhaps the cable attachments (which won't help on focus, only squareness).The good news is it should still be under warranty.

      You might try the adjustments in simulation U411. You'll need the 5 Kyo test patterns to calibrate the new scanner assembly anyway. It looks delightful. Please let us know how it goes. =^..^=

          B136-2LC-005 has a update on original sliding on the platen glass.

          dunno if its related.
          Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.

                  Hey I just had a thought (ouch ... that hurt! I'll have to be more careful to avoid that in the future).

                  Take a look at the gliders that ride on the scanner rails. It's not uncommon for one or more of these gliders to come unclipped raising the scanner, or just fall completely off lowering the scanner on the rails. Just a thought ... =^..^=
