[CQ] Cs-c3225e, banding on print, not on copies

Has anyone seen a problem where prints from PC have banding, however the same doc printed on another printer then copied on the CS-C3225 has no banding?

Do you have a sample you can post? Does it happen with everything, or only with certain documents, or certain applications?

I've seen lots of strange occurrences specific to a document, or an application, or to a print driver version, or to an operating system.
So you need to start by documenting:

All users? Or which specific users?
What documents? Or which specific documents?
What applications? Or which specific applications.
      What print driver version?
      What OS?

Here's a good example: Certain letters missing on prints to an HP CLJ 4600N (for all Win7 users, on Microsoft Office 2010 applications using default settings, with Calibri font used (Office 2010 default font). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It must be pretty subtle. The only thing I noticed in the scans is the steps in the cyan gradation, along the left side of the last page.

          If that's what you're trying to address you might try defaulting printing to 600dpi: !R! FRPO B8,1; FRPO N8,1; EXIT;
You can also try the other print emulation.

Oh, wait... I see a blurring of the text T in Tahoma, l in Palmer, about half way along page 2.
To narrow this down you need to print a document with small text filling a ledger page, so you can pick out the interval, and determine if it's just black, or affects the other colors. I suspect it is just black. and I suspect that it will be something easy to identify like a seizing BK developing unit, or a busted black cleaning auger filled with toner rocks. It could conceivably could be a transfer belt, buy my intuition is that you'll find that this does not affect the other colors.

You may not have noticed it, but I suspect that it is affecting your copies too. Let us know what you find. =^..^=

Since it's only happening when you print, might I suggest you check GDI compatible mode in the print driver. We've seen this solve print errors every time in PDF's and any Microsoft product.

Print properties>Device Settings tab> PDL button> check GDI compatible mode.

Since it doesn't happen with copies I doubt it's on the machine side.

            But I've been wrong before.....
