On long runs the toner is not fusing properly. I tried lowering the temp and raising the temp. Raising it seemed to help but not for long. It has a new fuser unit and customer is using OEM toner. Running 20lb. paper, albeit cheap stuff. Any help much appreciated.

Re: Kyocera 5035 fusing issue
Right. Excessively heavy paper can bleed off heat from the fuser, so that when larger numbers of prints are made, fusing degrades. When using heavy media be sure to select the correct media type, or select a suitable media. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Kyocera 5035 fusing issue
thanks for the replys. toner is genuine kyocera toner and paper is just 20 lb. plain paper but is W.b Mason cheap stuff. have not checked fans or paper setting. seems odd that a 50cpm machine can't keep up with fusing. wondering if there is a firmware mod for this?Comment
