    Re: TaskAlfa 250 ci DEAD ...... :-)

I have a problem with a taskAlfa 250ci. The machine displays waste toner full, even when bottle is empty. I updated the firmware to version 12. The problem was not resolved.

The simplest solution is the best place to start. I would start by cleaning the waste toner sensor (WTS). If that doesn't help I would track the harness back to connector YC2 pin 4, and YC9 pin 7 on the sub-front PWB. If that doesn't help I would track the harness back to YC19 pin 14 on the engine PWB.

You can test the output from WTS in simulation U155 > Overflow.

I hope that this translates understandably.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
