    KM-2560 Scan-to-email With Exchange 2010

    Hello

    We have a KM-2560 currently running firmware 2H0_2F00.011.006 (2008.03.18)

    As we have upgraded our Exchange server to 2010 we now have a problem with Scan-To-Email. The sender account is required to use SSL on Exchange 2010 but I can't see any way to enable it on the KM-2560

    I know there is at least one later firmware revision to this copier, does anyone know if this enables accounts to use SSL?

    Alternatively, does anyone have a suitable workaround that doesn't involve lowering the authentication security on the Exchange server?

    Thanks

    There are alot of other threads reguarding this sort of problem with exchange 2010, try searching for something about adding a receive connector. normaly eliminates a need for a password and means it will only allow connections from the one ip.

      Thanks for the quick reply - I was just about to edit my post to say that I have setup a dedicated SMTP connector to get around the porblem, but ideally wanted to be able to get rid of this.

      Do you know if later firmwares do include secure athentication?

        Negative. =^..^=
        If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
